About this fabric
Two- and three-thread constructions gain body from an extra binder yarn on the inside. Brushing raises that inner surface for thermal comfort; the unbrushed option keeps a flatter back.
Two-thread French terry is lighter and suits spring sweatshirts. Three-thread fleece is heavier and more stable; the brushed version has a raised, warm inner face.
What the finish does
Unbrushed + silicone. The loop back is left unbrushed; silicone softens the face.
