About this fabric
Rib alternates face and reverse wales in columns, giving an elastic structure. Its lateral stretch and recovery are what decide how a neckband, cuff or waistband behaves after wear.
1x1 rib is the classic trim for neckbands and cuffs and a close-fitting body fabric. 2x2 rib has deeper wales and more stretch across the width.
What the finish does
Enzyme + silicone. Enzyme washing cleans surface fibres for less pilling; a silicone softener gives a smooth, soft hand.
